Thomas Worsley Collection
The Thomas Worsley Collection consists of two series of a total 230 audio cassette tapes containing lectures on American History pertaining to the American Revolution and Civil War periods. Many of these speeches cover events and personalities of Alexandria and nearby areas. Most of the lectures were from the American Revolution Round Table and Civil War Round Table meetings of the D.C. area chapter ranging from the years 1978-1994. The American Revolution series consists of 114 audio tapes, while 116 are from the Civil War period series.
Gift of Thomas Worsley to Lloyd House, August 8, 1995. Transferred to Alexandria Library.
Collection is open for research. The Alexandria Library owns playback equipment required for use of audio recordings and video recordings.
