Content Description
The collection contains photos of Eulalie Gardner, her circle of friends, family, and students. The photos date from the 1920’s through he 1930’s, with photos of vacationing in Harpers Ferry and the Easter Egg Roll at the White House. A number of historic buildings are featured (the Washington Monument, The Jefferson Memorial, Mt. Vernon estate, the George Washington Masonic National Memorial) as well as shots of the D.C. and Alexandria area.

Biographical / Historical
Eulalie Gardner was born July 6, 1893, and was an elementary school teacher at Prince Street Elementary School in Alexandria in the 1920’s and 1930’s. She died January 6, 1984 at the age of 90.
