Alexandria Gazette I (MS331)
The Alexandria Gazette I, 1942 - circa 1991, contains nearly 230 photographs taken for and published in the Alexandria Gazette. Notable Alexandrians, politicians, events, and historic sites are captured. Several photographs have their original captions included.
Ashton McKenney Photo Collection (MS327)
This collection contains several photos arranged by subject, some original and some copy prints. There are photos of ships, various Alexandria streets, people, and the Alexandria waterfront.
Loeb Photography Collection (MS363)
The collection contains photographs and negatives predominantly of historic Alexandria buildings and civic life from the 1910’s to the 1940’s. A small number of prints are from the late 19th century. The collection is made up of black and white prints and acetate negatives, with a small number of glass plate negatives and glass lantern slides. The collection has been split into two series.
