Gardner Collection (MS348)
The collection contains photos of Eulalie Gardner, her circle of friends, family, and students. The photos date from the 1920’s through he 1930’s, with photos of vacationing in Harpers Ferry and the Easter Egg Roll at the White House. A number of historic buildings are featured (the Washington Monument, The Jefferson Memorial, Mt. Vernon estate, the George Washington Masonic National Memorial) as well as shots of the D.C. and Alexandria area.

Montgomery Dent Corse Papers (MS065)
The bulk of the collection is related to Montgomery D. Corse's military career, including muster rolls, commission and discharge certificates, and 63 letters written by Corse to his wife, Elizabeth Beverley Corse, during his participation in the Civil War. In addition, the papers of Midshipman William H. Peters and a few letters written by Mrs. Corse are included.

Polly Hulfish Collection (MS408)
Robert Clinton Rutledge Collection (MS406)
The bulk of these papers are correspondence between Robert Rutledge and Harriet Hulfish. Besides information about their relationship, this correspondence refers to Army camp life where Rutledge was stationed in Camp Lee, Virginia; San Francisco, California; Tennessee; Kentucky; and Texas. The papers also contain an illustrated catalog of Staunton Military Academy, and a play and short stories authored by Rutledge.
Alexandria Library Company Records (MS002)
The collection consists of circulation, subscription, and financial ledgers, annual lecture series documents, catalogues, correspondence, and various organizational documents. Topics include: foundation of the Alexandria Library Company, its cycles of growth and decline reflecting the local economy; the formation of the local public library system; and the on-going activities of the Alexandria Library Company, most notably its lecture series.
