Biography

Son of Anthony Charles Cazenove and Anne Hogan Cazenove. William Gardner Cazenove married Mary Stanard. They had a son named for his father, Anthony Charles Cazenove (1849-1897). William took over management of Cazenove and Co. in partnership with Cassius F. Lee and later fought in the Civil War.

Scope and Contents

The collection consists of a large ledger book containing account information from Cazenove and Co. for the years leading up to the Civil War. Accounts for partners William Gardner Cazenove and Cassius F. Lee are marked differently.
